Policies and what to expect

Booking, the sauna, phones and who may come, before you pay.

Booking and deposits

Book online or call the desk. A card may hold a group booking or a 90-minute massage, and the deposit goes toward your service. Other single services need none.

Canceling and running late

Please give 24 hours' notice to move or cancel. If you arrive late, your service ends at its scheduled time, so the next guest isn't kept waiting.

If you miss an appointment

If you miss a booking without telling us, the desk may ask for a card to hold your next one. The terms show when you book.

Children and companions

Courtyard is for guests 18 and over. We don't offer visits for children, and a companion under 18 can't wait in the lounge or use the sauna.

Patch tests and allergies

No service here needs a patch test. The booking page asks about allergies and sensitivities, and you can tell your therapist or esthetician before a scrub, a mask or a facial.

If you're not happy

If a service wasn't what you hoped, tell us within a few days and we'll make it right.

Tipping

Tips are welcome and never added to your bill. Leave one at the desk, or hand it to the person who looked after you.

Using the thermal areas

The sauna is for guests 18 and over, booked by the half hour. Shower first, wear the robe and sandals we give you, tie long hair up and bring your towel in with you. Leave the room if you feel dizzy or unwell. If you are pregnant, have a heart condition, or have been told by your doctor to take care with heat, ask your doctor before using the sauna or a body wrap.

Phones and quiet

Phones stay in your locker or your bag in the changing areas and the sauna, and no photos are taken inside. The courtyard lounge is a quiet room, so keep calls for the lobby.

When to ask your doctor first

Ask your doctor first if you are pregnant, have a heart condition, or have been told to take care with heat, before the sauna or a body wrap. Prenatal massage is by a therapist trained in it, with your doctor's go-ahead. Tell your therapist about any injury or surgery before a massage.
